The Navigation Satellite Uplink lets you "look" at any discovered surface through the eyes of the satellite you launched to discover it. It is accessible after you launch your first satelite, by using the (N) keybinding, by clicking the Navigation Satellite Uplink icon in the top left of the screen, or by accessing the Universe Explorer (U) and then selecting the "View Surface" button for the surface of interest.

• You can toggle between map mode and satellite view mode the same way you normally would by clicking the minimap or the (M) keybinding. Exiting map mode with the (N) key will enter satellite view mode where the map was viewing rather than back to your character.

When in satellite view you can:

• Rotate entities (as long as you aren't mixing fluids)
• Set splitter conditions
• Change combinator settings
• Change recipes
• Add/remove red, green, or copper wire
• Use blueprints, ghosts, deconstruction and upgrade planners, as well as cut/copy/paste
