Example basic requester cargo rocket silo and landing pad[edit]

Description: Put the signal transmitter and receiver on the same channel. Name the landing pad. Aim the cargo rocket silo at the landing pad. Update the requests in the constant combinators, the values determine the resources amounts you want to keep at the target destination. Set the cargo rocket silo to launch when full.

Example Delivery Cannon and Delivery Cannon Chest[edit]

Description: Put the signal transmitter and receiver on the same channel. Set bottom combinator on cannon to desired material level, and target the cannon to the receiving chest.

Chest sends contents of the logistics network and 2 control signals: signal 0 is a count of items in the chest, and signal A is a "we are transmitting" check.

The cannon checks 3 signals before loading the delivery cannon: 1. Signal A - do we have a signal at all? 2. Is the target chest empty? 3. Do we need to make a delivery?

If the answer to all 3 is "Yes", it will load the cannon and fire it towards the destination chest.

Simplified logic =[edit]

This solution only uses a single const combinator.

1. Use a const combinator with all requests as negative numbers. E.g. -1k vulcanite. Put this combinator at the signal sender (the place where you want to receive materials). 2. Add the current content (simply draw the wires together, no combinator needed). Always use the same color. 3. Send this total to Nauvis. 4. At Nauvis, add the current supply if it is a rocket (draw wires together). 5. Use condition "vulcanite < 0" to enable the inserter to rocket or cannon. A negative value thus represents a deficit. This method is safe against power drops. Single-type rockets need no signals as they will only launch when a landing pad is empty.
